Hello, I’m Lauren

Mum, Designer, and Photographer.

I have always seen the world through a specific lens. My background in Graphic Design trained me to see composition, balance, and light in everything. I treat every photo as a piece of art.

But my life is raising two boys, Vinnie (4) and Oscar (2).

This means I also know that life doesn't stay inside the lines. I see it in my own home every day: Oscar waiting excitedly for his big brother to wake up (Vinnie loves a sleep-in, Oscar not so much), the lounge room concerts, and the way Vinnie patiently explains how the world works to his little shadow.

My approach is a blend of both worlds: I use my design instincts to set up the shot, and then I step back and let your family do the rest.

why i do this

My journey behind the lens started naturally. I began photographing my sisters and closest friends as they became mothers, capturing their lives as they grew and changed. Over time, it became something I genuinely fell in love with.

But my "why" runs deeper than just loving the process.

I lost my mum when I was young. I don’t have an endless archive of photos of us; I only have a few. The ones I do have—where we are simply cuddling and smiling—are my most prized possessions. They aren't just memories; they are the only way I can revisit that specific feeling of being held by her.

That experience taught me that we don't take photos for today. We take them for the days when we need to remember exactly how this season felt.

Authentic, not "Perfect."

Because I know how precious these images become, I am passionate about capturing the truth of your family.

I’m not looking for stiff smiles. I’m looking for the magic in the mess. The way your kids look at you when they think no one is watching. The laughter, the hugs, and the energy that makes your family yours.

I want to give you photos that are beautifully composed, but honestly felt.

"But my kids are wild..."

I hear this all the time. And honestly? Good.

I love them that way. Children are the best subjects precisely because they don’t care about the camera. They aren't worried about angles or finding their "good side." They are just fully, unapologetically themselves.

So please, stop worrying. I am unshockable.

I’m a mum and an Aunty. I have seen it all. Meltdowns? Fine. Running away? Expected.

My sessions are a "No Pressure" zone. We play games, we act silly, and we chase the fun. Your only job is to show up, cuddle your babies, and let me handle the rest.

Ready to tell your story?

(It’s basically just a playdate with a camera).
